John A. Evans MD

Dr. Evans is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who has practiced in San Antonio since 1976. He is passionate about providing his patients with the best possible care using the latest technology. Dr. Evans specializes in adult joint reconstruction, including minimally invasive total hip and knee replacement.

Dr. Evans is a Fellow with the Royal College of Surgeons in Canada and a Diplomat with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Bexar County Medical Society, the Canadian Orthopaedic Association, the Texas Medical Association and the Texas Orthopaedic Association. Dr. Evans received his medical training at the University of Western Ontario, Canada.

Dr. Evans has been married to his lovely wife for 40 years and has three daughters.
